5 Essential Facts About Your Blood Type That You Should Know

Your blood type is vital for you to know for medical emergencies and because it says a lot about you. Most people do not feel that their blood type is something they should be aware of, which is wrong. There are multiple ways your body reacts if you're doing something that does not suit your blood type. The four major blood types are A, B, A, B and O.

Some people get to know about their blood type too late, they have suffered from a lot of things due to it. New research is being done revealing many facts about how a person's body would be like if they had a specific blood type. Some researchers also show that an individual's depression and diabetes might also be due to a blood type.

Here are 5 essential facts about your blood type that you should definitely know.

1. Women with O blood type are more likely to suffer in fertility issues.

This must be a devastating issue, but research has shown that women who have a blood O type are more likely to not become pregnant in the future. A major study done by the Yale University Fertility Center found that women with blood O had high levels of follicle stimulating hormone or FSH. This might make them not conceive in the future. It is also possible that this problem may become more likely to happen as these kinds of women age.

2. People with harmful blood types are more likely to have mental issues.

Mental health is a major obstacle in so many things in a person's life. It is just as important as physical health as it drains out positive energy and makes a person quite sick. Mental illness issues are often neglected, leading to a higher level of problems like depression, PTSD, paranoia or other mental disorders. RH-negative men are more likely to develop mental health issues. These are panic attacks, antisocial disorders and a tension deficit.

3. People with blood type A are more likely to have stomach cancer.

Stomach cancer or cancer of any kind is a dangerous and deadly disease that does not let a person stay healthy mentally or physically. People with blood type A are at much higher risk of developing stomach cancer if they are not cautious about their health earlier. A study done in the Journal of Cancer Epidemiology found that people with A blood type were 38% more likely to develop stomach cancer. These people must be well aware of their health choices early and have checkups that might reduce their risks.

4. Non-O blood types are more likely to have type 2 diabetes.

With the emerging times, diabetes is becoming a far greater problem in most people than any other disease. Some people associate diabetes with genetics, which is not wrong, but it is also not essential. Recent studies have found that people with non-O blood types are far more likely to develop type 2 diabetes than O blood type. A study in 2015 found that people with type A blood were 10% more likely to have diabetic issues. Similarly, people with type B are 21% more likely to have type 2 diabetes. Scientists analyzed that the blood group plays a major role in the makeup of the microbe, which affects metabolism and leads to diabetes.

5. People with O blood type are more likely to attract mosquitoes

This is for all those people whose blood mosquitoes find hard to resist. Recent studies have found a vast relationship between your blood type and how mosquitoes are more attracted to In 2004, the Journal of Medical Entomology found that a massive 83% of the mosquitoes are more attracted to O blood types, while only 47% of them are attracted to blood B type. Scientists believe that it is due to the sugar secreted through people's skin that mosquitoes sense it.
